The Mic2200 is plugged in to the DSP1124P, the DSP1124P is plugged in to the MDX2200. The MDX2200 is plugged in to Mic 1 on the Behringer MX 602A, I have used balanced XLR's. I then send the audio from AUX Out on the MX-602A to the Phono In on the back of the TS-950sdx (Unbalanced). Two questions I would like to ask is, should I use the Phono In for TX or should I use the Mic Plug on the front of the rig?. If the answer is the Mic Plug, then would I connect the Tip Signal on the quarter jack Mono to pin 1 on the Mic Plug and the sleeve on the jack to pin 8 on the mic plug?. I would also like to ask if someone is using the same equipment as I am, could you please tell me what settings you have on your equipment. I have had a lot of help off our good friend Eduardo PY2VR, the equipment he uses is slightly different to mine. He has the DSP1100P, 2001P Mic and 756pro rig. I have the green LCD lights on the MIC2200 and MDX2200 just flicking the Zero lights on, On the DSP1124 I seem to be getting the clip light on two often, should this go up to about 6?. I also have the Mic Gain on the MX-602A turned all the way CCW, EQ, MID LO, AUX and PAN are all at 12'o'clock. The Level is at 9'o'clock. Any help would be appreciated guy's. 73 de Kenny. Also I think the output of the mixer is too high. That means your levels from the audio gear are set too low. Try increaseing the mic to get a good signal to noise level and put the output of the compressor at about -10db and put the output of the last peace of your audio gear to channel 3 on the mixer. Thats the one without the preamp ok not 1 and 2. You don't want to use something with a preamp and set the output of the mixer somewhere at about 9 to 11 O'clock and the mic gain on radio at about 9 to 10 O'clock. Don't go into the back. It does not have a balance modulater like the icoms. (Spelling and writing corrected - JP)
