The call, W5OK, is a distinctive call for Oklahoma and was originally owned by Watt Stinson, an early Tulsa ham.  The call has been used for many years in contests and for Field Day activities and any ham on the other end of the contact knows immediately that the call is short for Oklahoma.  We hope you will look for us in any and all ham activities which place a station on the air.  Thanks to all who have worked us in the past and for the many who will be working us in the future.
